True story: Upon returning home from his honeymoon with his new wife, a Loughborough man realized that he had a married his best man. The bride had accidentally written her name into the witness space, and the best man had signed where her name should have beeen.
The bride: "When he told me Paul was down as his wife, I just laughed. I thought he was winding me up. But it's not funny. The wedding cost a lot of money. It was the biggest day of our life and we wanted it to be just right."
Their reverend assured them that any errors could be fixed and issuing a new certificate would not be a problem.
Final thought: The bride was wrong, however. It IS f--king hysterical.
