McLaren (http://www.motorsportforums.com/formula-1/mclaren.html)-Mercedes should have won the 2007 F1 drivers’ title, no question about it, with a car that was arguably the class of the field and the reigning double world champion and most impressive rookie in history on its books

so how did jenson end up at the team did mercedes place him there ?

Its abit of a nothing story really, and looks like a journo has jumped on a scrap of information and written a vague article out of it. Whitmarsh has just repeated what he said when Jenson was signed, saying they have to be managed better than Mclaren have managed in previous situations.


These are competitive people and sure they both want to be number one. The fastest will prevail simple as that.. :)

As there are only two racers to compare, surely you mean the faster will prevail. The superlative is used when there are more than two involved. I am assuming you are referring to the faster of the two, and not fastest of the entire field.
