I imagine that this has come from a French newspaper from last year (probably Les Mondes though I don't know where to be honest) and although speculation and intrigue are about as good as we're going to get at this point, I'd really like to see this on this year's Renaults.

I like it, too! From what I understand, Renault will indeed return to their yellow/black livery for 2010, let's hope it looks something close to this proposal.

That looks awfully like their one-off 30th anniversary livery from 2007

These days those are DISTRESS colors!

I am sure a company such as Renault will negotiate sponsorship - maybe Vitaly Petrov will drive.

Huh, now that you mention it, it looks a lot like the 1998 Jordan.

Now we are talking about a good livery... The only problem would be Total, because it would force them to put some red into the car, but anyway if they use this livery, I´ll be more than happy.

Some time ago I was speaking about a Renault-sponsored Renault, and how they should go back to their factory colours. Well, I hope this is a sign of the times to come :) .

Such a gorgeous, clean, classic livery in post#4 but wont work in reality as am sure there will be some more sponsors on board courtesy of Petrov in particular as well as splashes of red courtesy of Total which will somewhat cheapen the classic yellow/black only lines

Still a huge improvement on the ING liveries if they went for something along the classic Renault yellow/black colours however

The dull (but not horrible) Mercedes.
The acceptable Ferrari with those white stains on it...
