Hmm....seem to recall the anti-Todt brigade on this forum claiming that he would be a continuation of the previous regime.

I hear the curtains are being changed in the en-suite also...

...and not before time if you ask me - dreadful things.

Isn't that a type of pasta? Anyway, I'll happily admit that so far, President Todt hasn't lived down to my expectations of him - in fact, I thought his idea of appointing commissioners to deal with the everyday running of the various championships was an excellent idea :)

I'm cautiously optimistic.

Only if you gently turn it clockwise on a Tuesday.

The arrival of Jean Todt as FIA president late last year prompted a reshuffling of the F1 stewards' organisation...
A very welcome change

Does that mean Todt now holds the whip hand?

Does that mean Todt now holds the whip hand?

Only at weekends when it the company of Max....

They walk around, quite literally, hand in hand.....

Probably...

...not.

There are reports on the Italian website www.422race.com (http://www.422race.com), that former FIA President Max Mosley is planning to lead some kind of revolt against his successor Jean Todt at the next FIA General Assembly, which is scheduled to take place in Paris on November 5. There does not seem to be very much to back up the story, and our sources close to Mosley say that the story is simply not true.

What is perhaps more interesting is that someone somewhere is promoting the idea of a rebellion against Todt and one must presume that the intention is to destabilise the FIA President. Thus one needs to look at who will gain from that situation.

Perhaps Max is inspired by Schumacher's return and is planning a comeback of his own  :p :

Nah, Mister Max is no more. He's finished.

Montezuma is bored these days, he's out of the limelight now. He wants to be president of the FIA for a term then onto Italian politics.

I think it's something about carbon fibre being banned ;)

Still, Max did make an appearance on Question Time last week. He could well be building up his profile again for something...

Call me a cynic (you're a cynic!!!) but the same thought went through my mind when I saw him on QT.

Something along the lines of "why's he back? This ain't gonna have a happy ending for F1."

Mind you, Todt was 'his' man. Perhaps his blackened heart managed to push the wooden stake out (or dissolved it more likely)
