I ask because my son was recently given a CD with all the popular Disney tracks on it, which he likes to play in the car. I thought I was going to loath every journey but I've found myself singing along!

Hakuna Matata, Life is a highway and under the sea our a favourite in our car.

Sonic, Life is a Highway didn't start off on the CARS soundtrack, it was written by Tom Cochrane about 15 or 20 years ago here in Canada. Great tune tho...but I don't put it down as a strictly Disney track.

Hakuna Matata and the Elton John title track for the movie Lion King are burned in my memory by my daughter as a kid, and I still can hear both and remember the joy that it brought my daughter. Both great tracks...

I went to see Lion King the musical in the West End about five years ago. I regularly listen to the sound track while driving. :) I don't know how old your son is but I would recommend seeing it to anyone. I can't wait to take my niece but at 3 years old she hasn't quite got the attention splan to watch it all the way through right now.

I quite like the songs from the Little Mermaid too.

Yeah he's nearly 4, so like your niece I doubt he could sit still long enough to enjoy it - but having seen the show myself 3 years back I think he'd love it.

Now I don' t think the Dwarf's were speaking about Max. I think they tho still miss their 8th brother, the rich one, Bernie...

I would happily drive to Disneyland and become the subject of a newspaper article which ends with the words "...before turning the gun on himself", that's how much I hate the saccharine schmaltzy crap they produce and market at children.

Well I loved it. :D I must have seen about 10 musicals now and the Lion King is still the best one I've seen. You wouldnt think they could do things like the stampeed on stage but it really works. :) I also quite liked how some of the animals came to the stage via the audience.
