There have been two press releases to go out today. One says Dale Coyne is going to have a teleconference at 3 p.m. Monday to unveil an "alliance" of some sort. Also, Details about brazil will be announced on Tuesday.

Dale Coyne making an announcement in January is just wrong, he's always been the guy who doesn't say anything until an hour before the first practice session at the first race of the year. No idea whats going on there, maybe he's swung an alliance with Stargate Worlds, NWR or de Ferran.

It will be good to get some details on Brazil. There's two maps that has been pretty widely circulated on blogs and other board, the second showed up in a Brazilian Newspaper

Also in an interesting note the "Revised" television schedule was posted on Indycar.com today, and the 500's start time is noon EST. If correct means that league has reversed its position it took this summer where it said it wouldn't switch the start time. The main reason why they would change the start time is to accommodate NASCAR drivers... I wonder who wants to make the double.

Allowing NASCAR guys to do the double is the smartest move they can make, and it was silly of Tony to change the start time to stop it a few years ago.

I would doubt the race starts at 12. Thats probably the pre-show time.

Correct, the times listed are those of the start of the tv broadcast, not the race itself.

Well that would make sense

I thought the rumor went that Coyne was making a 'sponsorship announcement' and that it would be an agreement with an organization that 'most everyone is familiar with'.

Also, it was announced awhile back that the start time for the 2010 Indianapolis 500 had been moved back to noon.

The race start is still listed on Brickyard.com as 1pm.
