View Full Version : Whats The Difference Of Single Diffuser And Double Diffuser?

I have just receive me 1/18 ferrari f60 and look at the rear to see the difuser.. looks like double.. after some checks on the net i found out some double diffusers of the late ferrari f60 and also some from Bahrain.. but i cannot see much difference on what is the double and whats the single.. can someone explain to me please?

the first pix is from bahrain.this is single? whats the main difference to the double?whats exactly double??

I think you have to look for a 'Slot', which is not a 'Hole' on the underside.

Of course, that depends upon what the meaning of 'is' is. LOL.

The second diffuser has a "slot" in the outer channel, allowing an air feed from above the floor tray through.

That, in effect, allows for a "double" feed of air, above and below, creating a greater pressure of downforce.

Apparently, according to the FIA, it is definitively a "slot" and not a "hole", as "holes" are different.
