one would say the two best drivers; Hamilton and Alonso IMO, but as we all know, it just wouldnt work. and actually, Webber and Vettel seem to work quite well together, and with a double diffuser at the start of the year this year i believe one of them would have been champion. and tbh, webber had bad luck that put him so many points behind vettel.

so Hammy and Vettel would also be good in a Mclaren, although due to the great nearly the same level of skills between the top 5-6 drivers at the moment, i would say any two of hammy, vettel, alonso, webber, massa and if he was to return then kimi would be a great driver line up, although partnerships would be questionable.

as for cars, id go for either a macca, ferrari, merc or red bull. its an interesting question, but IMO both ferrari and red bull have a form of dream team next year, and macca arent too bad off either (button is probably the best behind the 6 that i mentioned before)

so in many ways, a dream team is indeterminable at the moment IMO, there are just too many options.

Probably three 'Dream Teams':

One will be who I think is the best, and the other two will be who I'd like in a team based on my favourites:

1. First Driver: Hamilton, Second Driver: M. Schumacher, Test Driver: de la Rosa

2. First Driver: Button, Second Driver: Heidfeld, Test Driver: Davidson

3. First Driver: Fisichella, Second Driver: Klien, Test Driver: Kovalainen

Who would yours be?

Kimi and Schumacher at Mercedes, just so that Kimi can beat MS and once and for all settle the question of who is the greatest driver in F1! :p

Button and Hamilton in Mclaren-Mercedes MP4 25's:

they have WON the championships in the past two years and will not clash and will achieve wins because each will be strong where the other is not as.

Mclaren are also the only team that has proven ability to engineer drivers that have two different styles and the Woking teams' ability to recover is above all others as 2009 showed.

I don't think that this is any more daft than Lord Hesketh owning an F1 team, and he eventually became Minister of Industry in John Major's government.

The nowadays team...

1st driver: Alonso
2nd driver: Rosberg
Test driver: De la Rosa
Chassis: Williams
Engine: Renault

Yes, Williams and Renault. Yes, I should have chosen McLaren and Mercedes as the best chassis-engine combo but no, this is not "the best team you can get", it´s "the thing you´d like to see".

All-time hellspawn:

1st driver: Senna
2nd driver: Schumacher
Test driver: De la Rosa (yes, again)
Chassis: Lotus
Engine: Renault V6 turbo
Gearbox: What Ferrari had in 2004...
Suspension: Williams FW14´s
Designer: Colin Chapman
Technical director: Ross Brawn
Team Principal: Frank Williams
Sponsors: JPS (and I´m smoking one of them as I´m writing this)
