Per Robin Miller, Cavin and a couple of other sources the IRL is close to a multi-year deal with Izod. Supposedly the deal is for $10 million a year, with each full-time team getting and Izod decal for $100,000 a pop.

Seems like pretty good news?
Can we get the masters of spin to help us interpret?
Spin and the Concerned Fan exclusion principle
For systems of N identical particles this is related to the Concerned Fanexclusion principle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pauli_exclusion_principle), which states that by interchanges of any two of the N particles one must have

Thus, for bosons the prefactor ( − 1)2s will reduce to +1, for fermions to –1. In quantum mechanics all particles are either bosons or fermions. In relativistic quantum field theories also "supersymmetric (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supersymmetry)" particles exist, where linear combinations of bosonic and fermionic components appear. In two dimensions the prefactor ( − 1)2s can be replaced by any complex number of magnitude 1 (see Anyon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anyon)).

Haven't read robin's article. But 10 mill a year, plus 6 mill from VS, puts the IRL 16 mill closer to the black than they were a year ago. Is that enough to make this series profitable? Or not?
