Hello, I'm new to this forum. Reason for joining is I want (NEED) access to an Escort MKII, I'm competing in RallyQuest this year and am looking for someone who has a MKII and would let me have an hour or two's drive in it for a reasonably modest fee... the rally schools near me are asking £500+ for 150mins training, I'm offering about £100 and petrol (i'll even jetwash it and pick the stones out of the tyres when I'm finished), i'm already a reasonably skilled driver so won't wreck your car... I'm not wanting to do anything extreme, just a bit of sliding around on open ground, to get the feel of the car and hopefully give myself a bit of an advantage...

I'm in Bolton, NW.

Not sure you'll get too many takers with that one, can't be too many people wanting to lend out their pride and joy without some serious renumeration. It's not just fuel but the serious hassle that the gearbox and diff will get from a short thrashing around a car park (or whatever).

Take it you've put a similar message on Pistonheads and british rally forum, if not then they will probably be better places to try than this forum as this is a bit more international :)
