Who will be part of WRC in 10 and in which teams, both M1 and M2 and S2000 WC ?

FIA have been playing with the names again or will be in December!

M1 - top level teams will be called Registered Manufacturers and must enter two cars on all 13 events and only with current World Rally Cars designs.

M2 - the second level teams will be called ‘WRC Teams’ and can run one or two cars, including cars of any class which are eligible to contest WRC events and not limited to World Rally Cars, on a minimum of eight rounds.

Final decisions regarding vehicle rules and plans to bring in the new World Rally Car formula in 2011 due in December WMSC meeting.

Deferred for the moment is the concept of making an official Drivers’World Ranking, compatible with the current Championship points listing.

Just when you though you are getting the gist of it.... the manufacturers are also able to register for the World Rally Championship are not only the official Registered Manufacturers (M1 teams) but also the WRC Teams (M2 teams)
