Yes it might be boring to see them winning again, but credit were is due, because once again they did a great job, so congrats to them and to Citroen. And yes I was among them who wanted Mikko to win but that's how sport is sometimes...Congrats to Mikko too, this year he was just amazing, and I am sure he will win next year ;)

Congrats to Loeb and Elena for such an achievement.

It's sad that he took his last four titles in the poorest state the WRC has ever been in. It just makes me curious what Loeb could have achieved if he was a WRC contender 10 years ago.

It would have been harder but make no mistake, Loeb would still have been multiple world champion. Regardless of the competition and the quality of the car Seb Loeb is still something very, very special.

I agree, of course he would have been one of the front drivers, but I doubt he would have taken so many wins and championships. But it's hard to tell, Loeb is a Citroën project and the team is based around him. You hardly saw this 10 years ago.

Apart from Loeb himself of course, Citroen have been working with him for years and years. Also in some ways Gronholm was a Peugeot project, until they stopped paying attention and put only 4 gears in the whale.

Congratulations to Seb on a 6th title :)

The fastest driver won, the best in 09, maybe..but lets not spoil this thread with arguing.

Loeb has been a Citroën project since '98/'99 I think. Grönholm spent almost 10 years battling as a privateer before he became a part of Peugeot, where he indeed was the man they most counted on (although Burns did join the team in '02 as a world champion).

With all those tarmac rallies ? Impossible ^^ I'm sorry for him but next year ZERO chances for everybody. Sordo will probably fight for second place too...

Not much more to add....simply amazing - he had to put pressure on Mikko and win and those two stages where he pulled a 20+ second gap just reiterated why Loeb/Elena are the best out there.

Congratulations! 6 titles in a row! I rate the first one as the most impressive thou.

The level of reliability now is just someting we never saw before.Hardly any mechanical faliures. In the 90s and early 2000s that was a big reason why championships were won or lost. There need to be a new manufacturer that sets the bar on a new level, making Citroen and Ford scared. Risk must be taken to gain performance. Then it gets exiting!

StevieWonder, respect to you for fairly congratulating even though your a huge Hirvonen man (unlike some other bitter Ford fans around here....) ;)

Congratulations to both Loeb and Elena! No matter how strong (or weak) their competitions are, it's quite an achievement to win the title six times in a row.
