Hi,

Entrylist of next week's rallye du Valais is available http://www.swissrally.ch/saisons/2009/engages_valais.html
Not too bad entrylist finally :)

Final of the swiss championship between Florian Gonon and Ivan Ballinari and final ERC between Giandomenico Basso and Michal Solowow...

Fantastic battles also in the Clio R3 Cup between Guigou and Bettega, and in C2 R2 Cup between Bouffier and Neuville :D

Overall I expect a fight between Basso and Hotz for the victory...

Just read how Kris Princens rally ended on his website.

The guys with one number lower than him, started with a Punto S2000 in only their second rally! After 7km in the first stage, Princen was already right behind him, but the driver did not want to make any place. They even accidently hit them in a hairpin.

The next stage it was even worse. Where there was so many place to get passed (two lane road), Princen got next to him, but instead of letting him pass, he cut of the corner and ended next to the road against the mountains... :( :( :(

Extremely well done by 'Rywalski Josias', for what I read on the site of Kris Princen (muc more details than my poor description), Mr Rywalski should be banned for live from rallying...

It's just one side story. Shouldn't be judged without knowing from third side or at least both...

Basso is European champion, congratulations!

In previous rally's Princen had onboard camera, so let's hope to see some footage, but you're right.

Congrats to Basso and Abarth and tomorrow for victory!!!! :D

]It's just one side story. Shouldn't be judged without knowing from third side or at least both...

I agree with you Mirek that it is just one side story. But on the other hand i don't understand how they can let somebody start with this kind of car in only his second rally of his career. In Belgium you will not even be allowed to start with such a car after only one rally. To be honoust i don't understand organiser if he let this guy start just in front of Princen who is leader in Clio R3 Cup, it was to be expected that he would catch up with them on the stages. :( The fact that he didn't let him trough as quickly as possible makes it only worse.

Mirek
30th October 2009, 16:08
ok, I don't know how much rallys he did before but I remember that he drove Valais last year...

HaCo - thanks a lot for the translation from Princen's website! I really appreciate it.

wwbroe - but how do you ban somebody from driving a car that he wants? If what Princen says is true then this Rywalski is probably an idiot, but if he can afford Fiat Punto S2000 I don't think abybody can stop him from driving such car. It is sad, but it's only a question of money...

All in all, it's a shame to see someone like Rywalski carrying a Polish last name. I hope it's just a coincidence and he doesn't have any roots in my country.

Congratulations to Hotz, Basso and Gonon!
