well done Bunsen, I was wrong!

That was some champion overtaking today, eh proved he wanted it, and he got it!

Shame for Rubens, but well done Jenson!

Deserving indeed.

So what that he didn't win in the second half of the season? He put in more overtaking moves than the rest of the field combined.

Congratulations Champion. Your name is in history books now. Well done.

Get in, great drive from a poor position (albeit his own fault).

he may have struggled in Qually in the 2nd half of the season, but made up for it in racing.

I agree, but every F1 champion deserves it, so this kinda moot. :D

Congrats to Button!! But even in such special moment it can't be forgotten, where did they all come from - in winter neither JB nor RB had a team and their F1 careers seemed in tatters. So the whole story is really incredible, backed up by World Titles. By now I have already got used to seeing Brawn as a front-runner, but I remember watching Brawn drivers in positions 1-2 in Australian GP post-qualifying press conference, which looked extremely unreal - "what the hell is this? What kind of universe have we entered?"

In conclusion it can be said that the title was basically decided after Turkish GP. The gap was simply too big and demanded basically perfect second half of the season from any of the chasers, a level which none of them managed to achieve. So Button only needed to consistently cruise into minor points to wrap up the title, which he was good and also consistent (which he has always been) enough to do. Probably he has been a bit luckier than his straight rivals RB/SV over a full season too, but that's part of the game.
