Love seeing the Group B cars!!!

Something about the nostalgic feel of a Group B car which rallying purists can't explain. Love hearing the stories from dad about watching them live. Would give anything to have seen a real group B rally!

Finally some justice for Lancia on Top Gear. I'd wish to see Delta S4 in it though.

The first is a stratos,

the second an integrale

The only group B car is the 037

Not sure about that episode. The most disappointing thing for me was they spent to much time touching each other legs, and despite having an 037 sitting there it was not even started.

I know the owner probably didn't want to have them driving it, but a couple of shots of the car going and the noise would have been nice even if it wasn't clarkson or hammond driving....

In any case, it was nice to see Lancia getting some recognition on Top Gear for once. I was more or less surprised no one in the TG audience knew which manufacturer won the WRC ten times.

I agree WRCfan, the 037 part was too short and they skipped the Delta S4 entirely, what a shame. The Integrale is always mindblowing to see though, especially threw TG camera's.

I loved the look of that Integrale, I would really love to have one of those but a minter would cost far too much.

No surprise that they did a comedy lap in the Hawk though, that thing was obviously badly set up by the owner and was a bit of handful, they just exaggerated the problems.

Telling me I can buy a Stratos replica for £13k 2 days before I made the final payment for my current car was not a good idea!!!! As I'm buying a new house I have to buy fireplaces and curtains instead. Lifes not fair sometimes. :p

13k for the kit then you have to pay for engine + paintwork + gearbox + suspension + 2k for coffin spoke wheels and then a few grand on top for group 4 bodywork :p 20k is probably a better estimate I reckon.

Predictably Top Gear have really made a hash out of the segment with that replica and all the spins were for show.
