Hmmmm smells fishy. If anyone has seen Mythbusters you'll know it takes a crapload of helium to get a child airborne.

I still stand by this. Balloon's that size might get a small amount of scientific equipment airborne but not a child....

They should have been reading 'The Boy who Cried Wolf' to their child instead.

the father came up with this stunt for fame and to make enough money to build a under ground bunker before the world ends in 2012

This family are nuts, but it says volumes about the guillability of the press to not speculate something fishy. Daniel's thoughts were the same as what mine were when I saw it...that balloon might carry 5 lbs, not 50

People should have realized that this family has issues as soon as they found out that they named their son......FALCON!

The boy will be rembered as 'The Boy whose Parents Cried Wolf'.

The boy will be rembered as 'The Boy whose Parents Cried Wolf'.

Either that...or the boy will also be known as "The Boy who could not tell a Lie"

Basically the kid tossed the parents under the bus on the Larry King show....but being 5 or whatever, what did these idiots really expect the kid to do?
