For a win? Minimal to none.

For a good 3rd place? Likely.

Well.. since Märtin tested Ford first time in this year and gave Mikko some tips for driving.. Ford has won all rallies. Märtin was helping them again before Spain.. the possibility is really small but I think that Mikko will win :-)

My guess is second, even the roads are easy, better to wait until Wales for the win.

Sorry it was not a straight fight. Loeb had a puncture and completed the stage with a tire out!!!!

Psycho!

It will be a fight for second place between Mikko,Sordo and Petter...The Finn must decide where to fight the hardest for a place,in other words:Push hard in Spain for a second place and have a careful approach in GB for a nice second or a forth place in Spain just watching the stages and a very hard attack in GB and second on the road...But there is also Petter very good in GB and in Spain we could see some rain....Too difficult to predict...

Mikko has told that he is going to Spain to fight for the second place. He is not aiming to win, but to take good eight points. I see that his chances are good. Possibly there will be a battle with Sordo, but I'm interested to see what the "totally new tarmac setups" have done for the Ford's tarmac performance.

About other Citroen crews, Ogier is not a tarmac specialist, neither is Novikov. Petter again has a new car and he's never shone on tarmac. Only real threat to Mikko's second place is Sordo.

It was a straight win. After 14 stages Mikko had a lead of 12,5 seconds. That's a difference measured with a calendar in Finland. Not to forget that Loeb said that he is unable to respond to Mikko's pace.

What about P.Solberg's win on Tour de Corse?

Heavy rain, Pirelli tyres which were superior on wet. Not to forget that the other leading drivers failed in the their tyre choices.

But he won..

Subaru cars weren't fast in tarmac, i believe we may see a surprise from Petter!!!!

You can't be serious. How do you think Sebastien got a puncture in the first place?

Anyway, Mikko's chances in Spain are second at tops but not very likely. Third place should be a routine performance. Anything less is a pure disappointment.

I don't believe Mikko will win in Spain unless both Loeb and Sordo have problems.

Anyway, the main oponent for the rally won't be Sèb, but Dani. He'll try to have him behind so that Loeb can take as many points as possible from Mikko.

mikko will make a mistake on this one trying to be on pace with Ogier and Solberg

I am sure he will be faster than Ogier and Solberg, but hard to say if he can fight against sordo! I don´t really think so, a safe third place would be my choice, and then we will see a great final in GB!

I think mikko will end at third place. Sordo is too fast on his home ground, he is almost as fast as loeb.
Solberg is not a great tarmac driver, and he doesn't know the car. I don't know whats the Ogier speed on tarmac, he is french, so he might be fast as hell (like Loeb and Panizzi lol).

If Martin knows how to make Ford win rallies he should consider comming back to the wrc. He did beat Loeb on tarmac with the focus.

As Mikko has no technical problems and stay on the road he will have a place on the podium. :p :

Lonely third. Loeb and Sordo too far in front. The rest even further behind.

Indeed noel157, there are too much threads like this. Hirvonen already has a topic.
