This clearly says that Flavio is on the way out . where would Flavio be tried?

United nations War Crime court at Hague?????? :)

My understanding key persons involved in the case need protection during investigation from excessive persecution or intimidation as part of effort to find out the closest approach to resolve the problem, but this doesn't mean that they have immunity from punishment if they themselves proven guilty. just IMO :)

Mate, not the Hague :p it's the CPIB (they are much much much worse), they would hold power over this since it happened in Singapore.

They'll crucify Flav if they have a chance. It would be great publicity for Singapore's clean image if Flavio was prosecuted.
He wouldn't want to be in Singapore for the next race, they could easily detain him till the matter is resolved.

I was just reading this story on the BBC website:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8258987.stm

That reads to me like an admission of guilt.

I won't be sad to see Fraudio Briatore go, but I can't say the same for Pat Symonds.

They execute people for crimes less than this is Singapore.

In Singapore, at the very least, Flav will be sentenced to 20 swats with a cane. Course, in a "gesture of mercy", I'm sure Max Mosley will offer to stand in for him. :p
