This Darnell deal shows that Ford is a one-man (Roush) operation, plain and simple. Moorad and others aren't happy right now that Roush tossed BLabs for Darnell.
I wonder if this is a code for the vacant EGR #1 will become Bobby Labonte's.

I don't know how Roush is directly involved with the decision, of HOF racing needing money to pay for running their operation out of the Yates shop. (Also the quote at Jayski sounded like HOF won't be with Yates next year.)

By the Math only 4 drivers (TS, JG, JJ & DH) are locked in to The Chase, but realistically 5th through 11th only need a top 20 next week to stay in. That leaves Kenseth 48 points behind Biffle on the bubble, with Vickers -20 back in 13th and Kyle Busch another -18 back in 14th. #00 & #33 can't make it.

for once Nascar finally put on a good race.
Harvick had it won before his "talented" teammate decided to spin out.
congrats to Kasey, but this was one of the rare races were the CoT actually produced good racing, or maybe it was just Atlanta wearing the tires and the drivers who knew how to manage them could pass

I haven't watch a full race in a while and I'm glad I did tonight.
I give it 8/10.

And Juan Pablo Montoya is continuing to show why he is one of the best racers in the world.

montoya isnt doing enough. i dont believe he has anything for jj and tony in the chase. he only has two top fives this year and people like jj and tony and mark are saving up. reutiman was actually catching up on montoya even he was fast at atl. i really dont think he will be this year's bowyer in the chase.

Will, you seem to have the illusion that a driver needs to win races in order to win a championship in NASCAR.

Didn't Kenseth prove this theory in 2003, and even Kurt Busch in 2004.
You only have to be consistent in the final ten races. It seems Montoya is fast and good enough on Cookie Cutters and there is quite a bit in the Chase, Montoya can and will be a sleeper
