where is best to sit? turns 7 or 9 or grandstand 1, where does passing even take place

well im sure its like mid-ohio in that it is rare but where does it happen? in what turns?

Well looking at the track map, I'd guess that turns 7, 9a, and 11 offer the best opportunity for passing, as they have the hardest braking zones. But don't make any seating arrangements without hearing from a few others:

If you watch the Versus track preview I posted in the other thread, they might have mentioned in there where the "passing" zones are. But honestly I can't remember many or any on-track passes at Infineon short of a couple Marco bonzai moves.

Do not sit in the main grandstand, those are horrible seats unless you are really high up. The best place to watch is in the big hill embankment up on 2 & 3 (Where Nelson & Will had their crash today) or on the backstretch leading into the chicane.
