Which years and which car makers have the best of classic car?
I think the best classic is cars produced in 70's.
My choice would be Cadillac Fleetwood, and Chevrolet Monte Carlo

The 1960's was the high water mark for the romance of cars designed by artists and dreamers.
I give you the 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO, The Jaguar E type, the 1965 Ford Mustang, the 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and the 1969 Dodge Charger .

These models are also great, old but sweet. Acceptable.

It's all very well to rabbit on about supercars that very us of us have driven, but what of the "classics" that exist in the real world?
Ford Ka I, Vauxhall Astra Coupe G, Mark I Mini, Mazda 2 DE, Ford Fiesta 7, Ford Cortina Mk I, Volkswagen Standard 1500, Renault 5, Skoda 130LR, Fiat 131, Datsun 120Y, Citroen DS, Humber Imperial, Volkswagen Golf Mk 1, etc etc etc
These are the cars that normal people drive. Surely they deserve a mention?

Getting interested in classic restoration from specs affordable to me, the choices are between Mazda 616, Mazda 808, and Cortina Mark III preferably (if possible, mostly I found is Mark IV). Among these two which one do you think better?

If the 616 has the 12A el engine, I'd go for it!

Engine doesn't matter, I am not searching speed. As long as they don't run lumpy and no terrible oil leakage, I'll skip the engine problem.
I give the 808 more weigh, I'd prefer round shape single headlight is more classic, it also resembles Mustang. As for double headlight like 616 I'd prefer box shaped headlight.
