Former Scuderia Torro Rosso driver Sebastien Bourdais has accused his former employers of sacking him by text message.
The 30-year-old Frenchman was fired last month, and replaced for the Hungarian Grand Prix by Spanish teenager Jaime Alguersuari.

Its called technology - txt, email who cares - he should have resigned with the performances he put in.

F1 ace ??????? Is there another F1 series out there where he blitzed the field every race ? How about F1 backmarker/lap traffic

Get on with it Bourdais

Perhaps, the boss (Dietrich Mateschitz) could not bring himself to call Bourdais and speak verbally for the lay-off :D

Probably, or perhaps with Bourdais's history of bursting into tears when things aren't going his way, put Dietrich off..
It would have been a very wet phone call.. :p

I think the proper termination has been taken by the personnel manager. Dietrich's text message is more a word of compliment to bid farewell to Bourdais.

Instead of premium wet phone call, you can get it free in chat room... :) ;)

lol, UR like, so ystrdy omg!, r u4 rl? srsly, C-ya.

Never been a fan and never felt that he ever faced a full field of good drivers or machinery during his years with NH in Champcar. I would however like to see him come to Indycars just to see if he could duplicate his success in Champcar which I seriously doubt he would.

He knew going in he was in a no win situation at STR and would never see the pointy end of the grid on a regular basis in their car. Now he can say he was an F1 driver. Get over it and find a series that pays your bills and gives you some personal satisfaction and a chance to win. and please , save us the I"m looking at NASCAR line. No more Jaques Girards, please.

I hope he at least assured his children will live a comfortable life with the redbull money he was paid.
