i know but the #48 is my 2nd favoite team in nascar and now the track isn't gonna be "Jimmie's house" anymore

I still think of it as "Charlotte" so no big deal. (I am a big fan of Lowe's, the store. I'll take a shopping spree, please.)

I HATED calling it Lowe's Motor Speedway....to me it was always just Charlotte. They didn't build the place, Bruton owned and until a few years ago, Humpy Wheeler was the face of it....so calling it Lowe's to me was just trying to buy my loyalty....

finally finally finally someone say it!
i was talking to a nascar fan before the season startied, i told him i was thinking of going to Charlotte (coke 600) race, he told me Charlotte? witch race is that? i said Charlotte LMS, he said oh yeah.
he didnt even know the track real name :(

i never really ask him how many years have you watch racing?

so dale earnhardt drove the 29 car and kevin harvick took it over?

anyone think charlotte will retain its name charlotte MS, or get a new sponsor? It doesnt really matter, its always charlotte to me, although it would be interesting to see which new title sponsor it did get if it got a new one...

good riddance, I never liked sponsors holding track names, now it can go back to Charlotte Motor Speedway again hopefully
