Here is a Fans view about Nascar Fav Son being taken care of

About JJ getting three lucky dogs … just another proof of the stupidity of the lucky dog ruling … ridiculous … but can anyone remember, I think it was the year Dale “I owe it all to Daddy” Jarrett won the Cup, on at least two occasions came back from like two laps down with less than 100 to go to win???

Never liked him, and always felt something was up then … but at least he did it without this BS lucky dog crapper of a rule.

That’s one dog that needs to be taken out back and shot.

I remember a season prior to that (1997), Nascar thought they saw a puff of smoke coming from his car at Watkins Glen and black flagged him. He was running 4th or 5th at the time, but ended up in the 30's. The points he lost that day, would have been more than enough for him to beat Jeff Gordon for the championship. So pizz on your conspiracy theory! :D

I remember Kyle busch was 5 laps down at watkins glen a few years ago, got every lap back and finished in the top 10.

I remember Harvick getting 2 laps back at Darlington in one caution, DW thought it was unfair, but he was 2 down at the restart, passed the leader and the caution flew, then he was the only one a lap down so got the lucky dog as well.

alot of times, I question Nascar's Debris cautions all the time, either the race spreads thin or someone needs a lap back, its always questionable

Since you never see a car win by even a lap or more these days, coming back from multiple laps down just seems odd, huh? I mean, outside of a 24 (or even a 12) hour endurance race, how does a guy come back from 5 laps down? Just seems strange to me.

the lucky dog rule is very much needed, becouse their needs to be a easy way for cars to get back on the lead lap

i remember that race to, Kyle got 5 lucky dog passes, becouse the lucky dog is awarded to the first car off the lead lap and he was always the first ar off the lead lap even though he was 5 laps down at one point

the way most 24/12 hour races now also, coming back from a lap is near impossible.

the last one I could remember is Audi at Petit last year came from 2 down at the start of the race and I believe it was McNish (if not, then Dindo) driving the wheels off the R10 in the final hours to beat Peugeot.
