Lloyd nearing deal?
Alex Lloyd, who finished 13th in the Indianapolis 500 in his only IndyCar race of the season, has been talking about taking a sponsorship package to Newman/ Haas/Lanigan Racing for 2010.
It's possible they could partner in the final two races of this season.
Lloyd said the "focus is on 2010 mainly" but he is working on '09.
N/H/L had a shakeup prior to Mid-Ohio, with Robert Doornbos moving to HVM Racing. He was replaced by Oriol Servia, who will run at least one more race, Aug. 23 at Sonoma, Calif.
