Well

Kimi quietly parked his car at FINLAND during the WRC in a big ditch . and was coool aid .

Just joking no cool aid guys

Anway WE LOVE HIM FOR THE WAY HE IS IN F1. If allowed he would have a clause in his contract stating that he would arrive in a gorilla suit drive the ferrari and leave the track without anyone noticing in the same suite. :)

anyway we still love KIMI for the way he is .

I was in Finland for the WRC event, watched him in action severall times, and I believe he did a great job (considering his poor experience) until that off. And I can assure that he has the skills to fight for the WRC title with a right car and a little more experience, so well done Kimi  and see you next year again :D

What is the obsession with Cool Aid on this board?

We've often seen F1 drivers on rallies, more usually on the RallyGB/RAC as it is always after the end of the F1 season.

I wasn't there but followed his rally on the net and I was impressed from the footage and times I saw.
He was really doing great before his off.

Yeah Kimi did ok. But what would you expect? This is a world class driver and regardless of formula a world class driver will be near the pace in any machine. Its those last few tenths per km that become difficult to find if he chooses to switch full time.

At first when I watched the videos of him doing one of the stages around Killeri I think, I was sure he was in a WRC car because the roads seemed so narrow and tight. When I found out he was only in a Super 2000 car, I thought 'what must it be like for Hirvonen and co.?'

Kimi did extremely well though,he definitely has a future in rallying. I think he should only do it after his F1 career has finished, he shouldn't leave F1 for rallying.

I know I give him a hard time, but it's because he's capable of great things like in France 2002, Belgium 2004, Japan 2005 and Australia 2008. We just don't see them often enough, just the odd fastest lap at the end of races. Shame really.

He hasn't won since the Spanish GP of 2008, when if I remember he was leading the championship.

It's amazing really, he's up to 35 fastest laps now.

Kimi with a smile on his face in and out of the car!

He was definitely born in the wrong decade.

Nothing wrong with Kool-Aid. In fact, it is the most refreshing drink you can get. :) Kids love it, :lips: and, it's made with less sugar than soda. :D
Buy some today.

It's because of this 4-week layover, which used to be the French, and North American (US & Canada) Grands Prix that 'Uncle Bernie' felt that were no longer necessesary due to the fact that they weren't handing over the money either fast or plentiful enough. So, now you have otherwise bored and inactive drivers doing other things to pass the time.

Great Kimi for being in sideline during this mid season break. He will return to the track of F1 in fresh mind. Welcome back on board ..

I thought Kimi actually did pretty well in the last race, if you compare the teams throughout the weekend, then the Ferrari certainly wasn't very fast or particularly good to drive fast. The car looked quite a handful throughout the whole race, it seemed like Kimi was really driving on the edge.

Kimi did really well in the rally, he has only received praises so far, he was fast and he only had four days worth of testing beforehand. He will properly still crash out a few times with his limited experience, but it would be interesting to see what he can do with a bit more experience.

Wasn't there some kind of news item that Malcolm Wilson might be interested in giving Räikkönen a test in Ford WRC car?

please note that i am a big fan of kimi . i do not care how he driver, or wins, drives for ferrari. or some other team next year. but would like to see him around in f1 for a long time.

there is no rule that a f1 driver cannot have fun . but i always adore him for being simple and also of having the courage of living his normal life in spite of the media camping out 24*7 around him

u have to watch 1st video. it begins with some pics . but the video part in between is worth watching . esp the the one at the wash basin, reminds me of myself sometimes even now :)
