Heavy rain forecast for Saturday and showers for Sunday.
Haga will obviously be fired up and Biaggi has done really well at this track in previous years in different classes which is Aprilia's test track.
I also expect Kagayama to make his presence felt on the Suzuki.

The Brits are obviously doing well in wet or dry conditions in both classes so we should see some good racing.

I don't see heavy rain for Saturday and Sunday here, only sun: http://www.weeronline.com/Tsjechiee/Brno.htm

It is time to have one or more wet races, that is too long ago.

Hopefully it will not be another double Spies' win. Go Haga and Smrž in WSBK, Veneman, Vos, Vostárek and Matěj Smrž in WSS, Siméon, Schouten and Ondřej Ježek in Stock 1000 and Lonbois in Stock 600.

Shane Byrne will be strong in wet, Brno is one of favorite track for Biaggi, Haga will be greatly motivated by point achievement of second runner which is constantly approaching him, but Ben will not let Haga to make the point gap getting bigger.

This would be an amazing race. Hope that to see the first win of number 3 of Aprilia is not only a dream.

As My Roby won't be there .. still cranky about that but...

I'm going for Max and Ben in Supers and for Westy to get it all together at last!! :)

I'm sure Michel Fabrizio will be very strong here, he's been on the podium virtually every time he's been to Brno.

A shame Max N is out injured again (broken vertebra in testing second day back from his broken leg), absolutely gutted for him.

Haga's 2009 season is a shot duck... 18th in FP1, now 16th in QP1. Still seems to have injury-related problems.

Hopper was 2nd in FP1; Biaggi 1st. Aprilia and BMW (new motor) may surprise?

I'm going for Max and Ben in Supers and for Westy to get it all together at last!! :)

The classic problem of Max he is not quite good when it comes to handle pressures. It leads to unnecessary mistake that send all of his effort to abortive attempt. Everybody can easily take advantage of his weakness, they can stay closely behind to make him get pressured. I see him a calm man, but if the pressures come all the times it is understandable that he will make the same mistake at the track, and making opinion or statement maybe sometimes unjustifiable.
Yeah he should learn more that once he decide to be a rider he should learn on how to manage nervous agitation becomes productive.

So, back to business as usual at the front... Haga needs to do something special here.

I reckon the front three will make a decent fight of it (hope so anyway).

Current points going into Brno:

Noriyuki Haga 308
Ben Spies 294
Michel Fabrizio 257
Jonathan Rea 177
Leon Haslam 167
Max Biaggi 155
Tom Sykes 141
Jakub Smrz 115
Carlos Checa 114
Shane Byrne 113

I'm really concerned about Nori starting so far back on the grid and all the obvious scenarios that conjures up but with Biaggi up front and prone to a sudden rush of blood to the head at any time, trouble could happen at the front.

And in race 1 there was certainly trouble at the front! Getting set for WSS now (and 125 GP about to go too!)

Westy!! *sigh of relief* :D :D

Such a neccesary result for all the team, shame about Crutchlow..

Hopefully its onwards and upwards from here on out for Ant.

Good job Max :)

ditto. Beautiful to watch when it all comes together for him. The story of R1 events were all over the face of Fabrizio when he was on the grid before the start of R2 and I detected some silly mind games from the Spies camp to rub it in even more. I think he rode a good 2nd race. Good result for Nori and with a few weeks further recovery he will be back and hungry for a double at Nurburgring.

Riding typical of Max he has to pull away and create significant gaps with closest rider behind. Riding as such without proper tire management will cause him ride without sufficient grip at the second half of the race, which mean opportunity for riders behind to catch him up. The old fella like Checa might not much threaten him, but when it comes to race involving overtaking maneuver with character riders like Valentino, perhaps Ben too, will make his mind dispersed.
Spies should be a mind game master ;)

Well, what an interesting round of racing. Michel! Patience my boy! Just a little over eager by the lad but the ain't the loan ranger on that front, they've all done it. Brilliant for Max and Aprilia to score that first win and then to back it up and show it wasn't just luck either, they had the genuine speed to do it regardless. BMW looked somewhat stronger with their new engine tho terrible luck for Ruben who's busted his femur when he destroyed his bike in the first race. Nori was brave and hopefully he can get fit over the break and do his usual fast finish to the end of the season otherwise I can see him joining Aaron Slight as best evers to never win a title.

The supersport race was a cracker. Crutchlow was desperately unlucky after dominating the weekend. I was chuffed to see West return to the front and the Kwak's are getting stronger. Ant's sounding a bit fragile talking about quitting after some recent struggles again, throwaway line or not.
Tho I don't like him much, it was good to see Foret get a win after some horrendous injuries in recent times.
And Ten Kate really are a shadow of their former selves. Two world champions in their team and they're struggling for top 10's now and getting less competitive by the round.
