sun cream damage on metallic paint

any one know how to get sun cream marks off metallic paint its eaten the shine right off it

Well if it's eaten the clearcoat off the paint all you can really do is a polish and wax

My guess is that the oils in the sun cream have penetrated older clear coat or paint. If the paint is in good condition I'd try some mild rubbing alcohol or dewaxer on the paint.

If sun screen type products would dissolve clear coat, I doubt anyone using it would have healthy looking skin afterwards.
