When did you last get a telling off like the ones you had when you were a child?

A few days ago I went to a function at a large country house with three friends and as we drove in the parking woman said "Main house, park anywhere" to me (as the driver).
"ANYWHERE?" I asked, thinking the game was certainly on for fun with that instruction :p :
"Yes" she replied, as if speaking to a moron "ANYWHERE"
"Ok, but don't blame me if I do" I grinned and left in a flurry of gravel.

Harewood House has a very large front lawn.
It looked pretty with my muddy Range Rover parked smack in front of the house at a jaunty angle, floodlit and with the setting sun glinting on the windscreen.

Security were on me like a rather antisocial rash

They thought my long black gown a poor disguise, especially when they spotted I was still wearing trainers, and I was clearly a terrorist planting a large car-shaped bomb

After my telling off, I used the designated car park.
It was fun while it lasted :D :D

Harewood House has a very large front lawn.

I have a very small front lawn, and it has only two trees (one juniper and one apple tree), so you probably can't call it a wood, but a hare visits it sometimes anyway.
