If you were a rally driver, which co driver (s voice) would you like to have reading youre notes, leaving the language difference out of the question ?
I personnaly like the quite voicee of Timo Rautianen ( Grobholms's co), soft voice, good intonation. Were Daniel Elena is too much intonation, becoming a bit anoying after a couple of kilometres. Second on my list would be Phil Mills. Good, clear voice, which is still nice to hear after a long stage.

Nicki Grist, but there is this australian guy that is pretty good too. I think his name is Glenn Weston.

My old codriver was so loud I turned the intercom off, he was very clear though :)
Glen Weston has a very calm voice and is very clear, he frequents these forums occasionally.
I'll try and put up a bit of my note calling on http://www.bakermotorsport.net tonight.

Its even better if you understand czech .... its the only codriver with navigation terms like:
NO FEAR!!! GO GO!!!
DONT BREAK!!!
FULL FULL FULL THROTLE!!!
i think he would make Shumacher ..... Loeb (sorry wrong forum) even from sunday morning driver
Otherwise i would also stick with "lovely Veronica" even though i did not hear her :-)

I think the 100%, but I will only know for sure if I have seen both the 50% and the 100% :) .

He is not the only one, if im not wrong,(maybe one of the argentinian guys can correct me) Marcos Ligato co-driver R. Garcia, says something like "Recta larga y con Fe" which translates "long straight with Faith" or do it with faith, I think its a good phrase which can make a driver feel comfortable, but i would Like LUIS MOYA

i want to expand a bit on the discussion if its okay. i've been playing the colin mcrae games and i wish i edit my own pace notes because i find myself disagreeing with it. i like nicky voice, but the system is also important. colin's system is a bit vague, maybe give him more potential to crash. while petter is too much that i have trouble paying full attention to it. stuff like keep in, keep out and ditch outside catches me out, why don't they just say left or right.
some drivers in the old days like 50s actually memorize some of the stages and have no codrivers, like rally of thousand lakes.

I don't understand Spanish but I always thought Luis Moya's pace note reading was amazing. Considering how successful he (& Carlos) is, Luis must be very good.

you should hear him talk at an after-party. even faster!
i actually prefer a nav who will give me the most critically important bits with an emphasis that lifts it from the rest of the calls. tightens, for example, is pretty critical on 7-10 calls.
direction changes on crests, or whether the road continues turning over the crest or starts turning on top of the crest. these are the things i like emphasised.
i really don't care to know about stuff i'm not supposed to be hitting anyway, like stump-on-outside calls. A simple keep-in or a don't-go-wide is all i need!
But that veronica chick could sway me fairly easily...

are you saying Veronica is available, then?
I would take Nicky Grist or Phil Mills but Andrew Nesbitt's codriver James O'Brien must be heard to be believed!!!!

I'd like (in this order)
1. Dale Moscatt - very clear, doesn't mind having a go at the driver - 2005 Aus. Champion
2. Glen Weston - Can say I've met him! Very nice guy, clear as well.
3. Bill Hayes - Delivers an amazing amount of technical notes very quickly
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GXkusRni7A (Dean Herridge)
4. Julia Barkley (Julia Rabbett) - love her voice!
