NASCAR rules dictates that only cars built in the United States are eligible to compete.

NASCAR rules are whatever Brian France says they are, and can be changed in a wink of an eye. I love it when reporters make it sound like the rules are some sort of legislation that has to be agreed to by 2/3rds of a legislative body. :D

I thought when the COT came along you quit watching?

Newsflash, Chevy has been owning the race track for the most part, and lately Kyle hasn't been able to keep the Camry under him for the distance. I don't think the funding cuts will do a damned thing to change the current status quo. You think RCR and HMS are doing to quit working on their cars because they don't have GM money? They still have access to their wind tunnel, their engineers and their 7 post rigs dude....
