We have seen all kinds of sigs and other kind of statements throughout the years. I remember something like "Hamilton will never win a WDC" etc other stuff. :p :

Usually there are always those, who are doubtful about a win/title of Driver X until it has been finally achieved. ;) Wonder, when will a statement like "Vettel will never become a WDC, he is too soft", appear...
