Colin Mcrae Rally (1st game)

I recently got my hands on Colin Mcrae Rally for the PC and it does not want to play. Everytime i start the game, it goes through the intro then it exits.

Im not too sure why that is happening..any advice??

As far as I remeber the game doesn't run on newer Windows
