The South Carolina Funeral Board has revoked the licences of a funeral home and its director for cutting the legs of a 6foot 7" man so his corpse would fit in the casket.
Dont you guys make bigger caskets ?

So what is the big deal?
The cemetary that used to be Robert E Lee's home, has thousands of servicemen buried there. Even Kennedy is buried there. To make more space for more bodies, many have had their lower legs cut off and placed besides them in the casket to make more room to bury more people.

If he did it (as I suspect he did) without permission of the family of the deceased then it was out of order and the penalty is fair.

It wasn't approved and the funeral home lost their license to operate. AS they should. It may be why so many funeral homes really push cremation...lol
