Martini girl messes up F1 racers in Monaco (http://www.autoblog.com/2009/05/28/martini-girl-messes-up-f1-racers-in-monaco/)
You'd have a hard time concentrating too if this woman were staring right at you. That's what reportedly happened during last weekend's Monaco Grand Prix (http://www.autoblog.com/2009/05/26/spoiler-alert-2009-monaco-grand-prix-recap/). Drivers complained during qualifying that a billboard advertisement located just after Lowes hairpin and before the tunnel was distracting them. The advert was for Martini, the "Italian winemaker founded in 1863 and famous for its iconic vermouth" (according to Luxist (http://www.luxist.com/2009/05/26/poster-girl-too-hot-for-formula-1-drivers-in-monaco/)), and featured the enchanting gaze of model Jessiqa Pace.

I've seen much better!
These drivers are a bunch of school boys. :p
Want to distract the pilots?
Put a zombie´s face on the billboard staring directly at YOU!
And some skulls hanging from the tunnel´s entrance...
Oh! And some kind of big and low banner waving at Loews. With a zombie on it, of course :D

The Girl On The Billboard Made Him Do It
When I think I’ve heard about every excuse for qualifying bad, leave it to F1 to have a new one. It seems the bad qualifying by last year’s champion Lewis Hamilton was due to an advertising poster depicting American model Jessiqa Pace. The Italian winemaker, Martini has Jessiqa as their spokesperson and the billboards were up at different locations around the track in Monaco. Hamilton crashed during qualifying on Friday right below the turn that the billboard stands. It seems the F1 teams asked for the billboards to be either taken down or covered up during the race as it was distracting the drivers. If begs as to why didn’t all the drivers crash in front of one of the billboards.
The way the news release stated that only manly drivers were affected. Therefore, I ask this question, “Since Benjamin Button won the race without difficulty, does this mean Button isn’t interested in women?” I don’t want to be the person that calls him unmanly.
I’ve heard the announcers tell the audience that F1 drivers are the most attentive of all known racing professionals. If this is the case, how could a billboard break their concentration? Personally this excuse sounds somewhat farfetched and is sounding more like an excuse for bad performance than anything else.
The turn where the billboard is located is a notorious location for the spins that happen regularly during the course of the race. So why is the poster blamed for spins there this past week? It is true Jessiqa Pace is a most beautiful woman, but come on guys, the cause of your spins. I could understand a spin if you were tracing her curves, but not during the race. No, I see an excuse and nothing but an excuse.
now what would happen if a model type good looking gets a drive in f1
Commonly referred to as "Driving without due care and attention". 3-9 penalty points depending on the severity of the offence.

I can't believe people are swallowing this obvious attempt at viral marketing.

Post pics for proof! :)
Did you take a close look to her nose? I wonder how she became a model with it.
I don't post pictures of my ex out of principles.
I am certain that the billboard was also animated. Could've sworn that I saw her actually wink her eye. Anyone else notice this?
