It seems like it will take a miracle for Alex Tagliani and Conquest to make it to Kansas for the race this weekend. The entry list has come out without Tag/Conquest on it. Also on the list is a TBD from Dreyer & Reinbold instead of Darren Manning, and the first Sarah Fisher entry of the season.

That stinks but they aren't exactly competitive on these tracks. Maybe get ready for strong May at Indy isn't such a bad idea.

Better to show up at Indy with your car set up, your team well rested, and all the spares and bits and pieces sorted out and ready to go. A bad weekend at Kansas with a trip or two into the wall could ruin the Indy run....

It was mentioned last week during the telecast on Versus that Conquest was deliberately missing Kansas. I would imagine as many of you have stated that it is to be more competitive for May.

Tagliani is one of those unfortunate drivers that has/had great potential but just never got that great ride.
