dont forget Johnston winning while having an orange under his chin, chewing some methane-cake, and destroying the field despite having no legs after that terrible fatal accident with a rabbit and a plank of wood. ;)

ofcourse Johnston did doubly well, considering Piquet spun into his car tearing off the front wheels! ;)

so the full 2011 spanish GP results:

1st. B Johnston
2nd. S Bourdais +5 laps
3rd. D Patrick +5 laps
4th. G Quagmire +6 laps
5th. P Di resta +6 laps
6th. F lying Pig +8 laps
7th. J Clarkson +10 laps
8th. P Griffin +a lot of time

Even more amazing that I thought for sure DP would finish ahead of johnston until she fell off pole, and SB took her place

But most amazing is how Brook drove with all those bodies blocking his vision, but I guess the blindfold was very effective in helping keep his concentration up

Driver number 7, J Clarkson to be summoned before FIA for suspected lying to stewards. Some say he caused Brook Johnston's fatal accident at Monza which Brook actually walked away from with no legs..?! Some say Clarkson had signed a contract with Brook earlier that day to be 'killed to death' in one of Clarkson's DVD's.. All we know is, Brook Johnston is not the Stig.. :)

Rumour has it Ferrari's new Double Deck Diffuser is still in development a year after it was expected to be seen in Barcelona. A Team spokesman said that it would definately be ready for the Disneyland round on the 25th December, adding that Ross Brawn was "supremely arrogant"

Shock reverberates around the pitlane, after Nick Heidfeld has the reckless abandon to attempt an overtaking manoevre. Rumour has it that Ferrari are going to take the German to the WMSC and get him fined 50 million pounds.

World Champion Jenson Button is spotted being accosted by Flavio Briatore who is pestering the Englishman to sign for him for 2011. Due to his abrasive style, Nelson Piquet and Fernando Alonso are the only two drivers left that are actually willing to drive for the Italian.

Scuderia Toro Rosso announce plans to change their name to 'Squadra Sebastian' at the end of the season.

3 years after his fatal Monza accident, Brook Johnston becomes the first Zombie to take pole at a Grand Prix.

I still can't believe they let Sato drive the safety car after what happened in the previous race.

New Mclaren boss Ian Huntley says he will improve the image of the team.

19th April 2009, 20:14
It goes from bad to worse as Ferrari's latest team manager becomes another victim of the machiavellian ways of maranello and sacks himself following a power struggle that saw him briefing the press against himself.

Ummm, I understand the remains of the grid girls were found in the boot of his car as he was giving it a very thorough clean....

I hope my reposte is in suitably bad taste to your post.....

Max Mosley is still the president of FIA and he has confirmed new rules for 2012 right before the Spanish Grand Prix:
- 2-cylinder engines to "cut costs"
- rev-limiter on 8000
- 4 sets of tyres for the whole year
- one chassis for the whole year
- new PERS (Potential Energy Recovery System) will be introduced and will be compulsory for everyone
- all wings will be banned to improve racing
- all teams will be forced to use country-based team names to improve viewership

The zombie of Bernie Ecclestone has announced new contracts with various circuits to hold a F1 Grand Prix from 2012 onwards
- North Korean GP
- Fiji GP
- Iraq GP
- Burundi GP

New points system for 2012, which should improve racing:
Race wins system, introduced in 2010, don't count longer. The amount of overtaking moves on-track over the full season will determine the World Champion.

Ecclestone announces that we will see 24 teams on the grid in 2012, despite the fact that the number has never grown over 10 in recent years.

New teams have announced their wish to join F1. A Jordan businessman wants to join F1 with his own team and wants to use the name of his country as team-name, but has to enter a legal process with Eddie Jordan, who claims to have the rights to the name. Mega Morocco team has announced its wish to join F1. Although the promised USGPE and North Korean Nuclear Racing Teams never reached F1 GP's, Morocco team owners are adamant that they are going to make it happen with victorious results due to their fantastic resources and support as they say, which they prefer to hide from public.

These are the news before the Grand Prix weekend.

Vettel banned from F1 after the Bulgarian grand prix because he was accused of bringing the sport into disrepute, after accidently being given the wrong hat to wear by a bulgarian official on the top step of the podium.

also in the news around bulgarian grand prix time, Batman returns to Grand Prix racing to finish second, whilst Lewis Hamilton becomes IndyCar champion at his first attempt, a year after he was banned from F1 because Bernie is a Massa supporter.
