First stage, first fastest time for Wilks in the Proton S200;)

And he's in almost 20 seconds lead infront of Miggins after SS2 :)

Yes, after the two stages run tonight, Wilks has allready good lead:
1. Wilks
2. Miggins at 18"7
3. Morrrow at 29"7
4. Cronin at 35"6
5. Gould at 40"6
The rest of the stages is for tomorrow, hope can keep it up with the Proton to give it his first victory. ;)

Two more besttimes for Wilks, making it four in a row, extending his lead to 28" on second placed Miggins and 36"4 to third placed Morrow. :)

After stage six, with besttimes for Miggins and Cronin, this is situation:
1. Wilks
2. Cronin at 36"9
3. Miggins at 45"0
4. Bogie at 1'14"8
Rantanen rolled his Clio on stage 5 and retired. :(

Bad news for Wilks and the Proton - the bumper caught fire which spread - I'm afraid the car was destroyed. Both the crew are okay.

hi all, just back from marshalling/spectating , gutted about wilkes, he was visibly faster , on stage 3, i was on startline ss2, he had smashed rear window , on ss1, still cronin took win on last stage so two in a row for the young irishman, great rally , fast dusty stages

thats two cars hes had burned out in just over a year the lancer was his fault he kept driving with a broken propshaft and from what im told this one could have been avoided it seems body work on the exaust caused the fire and you see from the tv coverage bit of the body work falling off the car and as a result caused the fire

yeah she came from behind, pardon the pun, she flew past us on last stage,brilliant drive , also alastair fisher drove a blinder, intresting to see how cronin fairs on the black stuff :)

This may be a very old question but why has the old Pundershaw stage been split up into 4 shorter stages on this event?
Is there any regulations that shorten the length of the stage or something?

dont know maybe its down to stage mileage, if say you ran pundershaw of old , on todays event, the rally be over in 2 stages lol, just an opinion, but might be somthing in it, still great rally, going up again this year
