For those who have not seen, thought I would post this as a seperate link for those (and not get lost in the battle over who is bigger liar--MS or LH)

At first I thought there might be an argument about the exact timing of the pass, and hamilton being told to hold his position, but that does not appear to be case.

Posting this separately to call attention and people can look at it, before it gets yanked off YOU-who-tube--SO BETTER QUICKLY --WATCH!!!

I don't think anyone can argue on behalf of both Ryan and Lewis after viewing the vid.

However, we are no longer discussing whether Lewis or Ryan are guilty of lying at this stage - the discussion has shifted to whether further punishment should be meted out to this team, and what that punishment should be.

Just by the way, do they have suspended punishments in F1 these days?

Well I guess they could use some suspenders and attach them to certain bodily parts,

I am very certain that, as he so proudly bragged at his trial of his long time and extensive expertise, MaX could certainly provide, implement and "suspend" everything necessary to beat any whipping the other fia boys could lash onto the back of MacLaren (and he would certainly be the one to ask as to which would hurt worse or bring more joy to the inflicter or inflictee....)

Hamilton, Ryan refused to change story
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/74368

Lewis Hamilton and McLaren's former sporting director Dave Ryan refused to change their story about having deliberately let Jarno Trulli through at the Australian Grand Prix, despite being played radio conversations and media interviews that suggested the contrary in their second stewards' hearing at Sepang.

This week's AUTOSPORT reveals that Hamilton and Ryan maintained their stance in that second hearing that Trulli had taken it upon himself to overtake the McLaren in the closing stages of the Melbourne race, even though the stewards presented them with fresh evidence to say they were lying.
In the first detailed account of the stewards' hearings that have resulted in McLaren being called before the FIA's World Motor Sport Council, AUTOSPORT reports that Ryan and Hamilton stuck to their original story when recalled for the second hearing.

FIA race director Charlie Whiting has also revealed that Hamilton denied more than once in the original hearing in Australia that he had let Trulli pass him.

No, he "forgot"
he just forgot to be a true Macliar when he first jumped out of the car and talked to the reporters
and WORSE, he forgot what he told them and fogot to notice they were recording his words for immortality....

I would not be surprized that Ryan had no idea what Hamilton told the reporters, esp given the reaction noted at the second meeting when that "radio interview" with the reporter was played or when the car radio tape was played while the in car video was played in conjunction...

Sort of like say Monaco 07...but instead of what really happened.....MS jumps out of the car, gives a recorded interview and says, "man I sure showed ole Freddie how to screw up somebody's qulafiying lap!!!"

Then the story changes to "I had this problem..." at the first steward's meeting

and then confronted with the interview in a second steward meeting, sticks to his story until the next day, when he "apologizes", :bigcry: and says Ross made me do it, I am honest, never lie, would never do such a thing, I am exploring my options, thinking of quitting F1, because I am not that kind of guy, quiting the team.. :bigcry: ..yadddaadda..... :bigcry:

No more evidence required, clear cut case of McLaren being muppets.

Yep! Clear as can be. I wonder Bernie will leave this video on the 'net to prove the stewards' point?

I wonder how this cheating behaviour is appreciated by the other pilots, especially by Jarno Trulli after this case?

A guy who acts like that cannot hope for much credit from his colleagues imo.
