I’m wondering if Honda has any comment to make after this first race. I haven’t seen any article from anyone asking the question; would they have done the same thing if hey knew that this is a 100% winning car?
They must be scratching there heads and asking whos idea was to get out at this point. As I always was a Honda fan it does annoy me. Well that was it. But I’m happy for JB, RB, Brawn and the whole crew, so fro Brawn GP :)

I guess its even more gutting for them as they are still helping out financially (rumor has it).

After the cars they ad the last couple of years as well.

I bet there are a few people in Honda head office having second thoughts now.

They can't even advertise their name anywhere on the car because it now uses a Merc engine. How sad is that!! :(

You gotta remember a large part of the win was down to the engine. Honda's was reportedly to be rather slow last year (I think some people have said 40hp) - which if you think about it is essentially a KERS boost this year. Things might have been a whole lot different if Honda stayed around

Personally I love the idea that after leaving their ex-cars are winners.

They probably thought it was an impossible dream.

It's a good thing to wonder, but what about Alonso, too? I lost track of all the rumours, but wasn't it a possibility that he was going to sign for Honda at some point?

marca's version is that Honda quit because Alonso said no to them

Honda are happy to not be spending half a billion per year in these difficult financial times.

I think that the Merc engines are part of the advantage which Brawn GP enjoys.
