View Full Version : NEW: UK Formula 1 Stockcar Website Launch.

19th March 2009, 08:11
New website launch: http://www.F1Stockcars.com (http://www.f1stockcars.com/)

Well whoopeedoo – some kid not really interested in stock car racing has used a templated website-maker tool to churn out another F1 website that will get updated twice and then forgotten all about, spending five minutes stealing some photos and recycling a few results they’ve nicked from a forum and then spend the next month telling everyone on Myfacebo all about it.

No, not really – well, not here anyway: this one is a proper website – and it’s exclusively about BriSCA F1. It looks good, it’s got some content, promises more, has people interested in F1 behind it, and has an easy to remember address too. f1stockcars.com go and take a look now, who cares what the rest of this message says!

No two-bit nonsense, I’m sure you’ll agree. Fresh design, fresh content, easy navigation – F1Stockcars.com has everything covered from the current news to classic driver profiles, interviews and features from the pits to the latest championship tables – it’s all there.

Our aim with F1stockcars.com is to provide up-to-date information on the sport with the intention that we make it accessible to both established fans and new fans. We hope that f1stockcars.com will become the site you tell newbies to look at when they want to know about BriSCA F1.

We’ve got big plans, and we’re proper muck-in fans so we’ve got big boots too – but we’re not after treading on anyone’s toes. f1stockcars.com isn’t a replacement or competition for forums – we’re setting up a news site and an information resource, not another forum. We want to be the site of record, not the site for latest breaking news, scoops or live results – the forums already do that stuff better than we could, so there’s no need.

We’re not BriSCA, we’re not the BSCDA, we’re not sponsored or affiliated with any promoters, magazine publishers, forum or existing website. We’re BriSCA F1 stock car racing fans and want to run the website for the good of our sport – giving unbiased coverage of all the owners of all the slices of all the pies that make up F1.

We need your input – if you’re a fan we want your views and maybe meeting reports. If you’re a driver, we want your damage reports, build diaries, meeting reviews or any trivial titbits you fancy throwing our way. If you’re representing a governing body we want your press releases. If you’re a promoter we want your pre-meeting hype. If you’re a trader we want the lowdown on your wares. If you’ve got anything interesting about BriSCA F1, send it all our way through the website’s Contact Us form.

http://www.F1stockcars.com (http://www.f1stockcars.com/)– be part of it!

I'm impressed!

A very professional site indeed.

Comments - none. I like it.

Keep it up.

(see your facebook link - how about re-writing Facebook. Most people seem to be hacked off with the "new" user interface)
