Sam Schmidt to I500 in '09

Sam Schmidt will run a car at the 93rd I500 for Alex Lloyd in association with TCGR.

Smart move on Schmidt's part. He just inherited a top car and driver.

On the I500's part, this is one car we weren't thinking about. It will definately help meet the 33.

Any word on a sponsor? Last years' Wii Fit sponsorship was a big one, I wish they could have activated that sponsorship and done more with it throughout the season.

Agreed, it was a big deal. I'm sure Chip has something up his sleeve and will pull something off. He usually does.

Wonderful news. I kinda link Dale Coyne and Sam in the same category. Both of them have a real passion for the sport and deserve every opportunity that comes their way. Way to go Sam!
