Stefan Wilson, the younger brother of ICS driver Justin Wilson is signed up to compete all 8 road courses in the FIL this season. He is looking to do the ovals as well, still working on funding though.

On a side note, First Motorsports, the new team fielding him, is hiring Walker Racing to run their program for the season.

The field for the FIL is growing and it should be a good year for them.

Would learn much more in the Atlantics. a mistake, IMO.

Similar weight cars, 50% more power, similar mix of teams, why would one learn much much more in Atlantics?

Atlantics? What Atlantics? Do you see any signs of that series still being alive? Sadly, I don't.

Well I am supposing the series does run successfully, what would make it a better training ground?

Pat, not trying to dog you, I really wonder what your train of thought is here?

I am a lot more familiar with the Atlantics, but to me, it looks like the advantage would be with FIL this year.

They run similar lap times to Atlantics, have less "Specific Downforce", require more braking and throttle skill, and seem to have more competition this year.

Thoughts?
