Err... nascar.com has something quite different from that...

According to them, DNQ's are 28 Kvapil, with 44 Allmendinger starting 19th

Thanks for catching it, the error was Nascar.com's which only had 50 cars on the race lineup results page.

Almost locked in now. He has 241 points, just starting today's race gets him a minimum of 34, so at least 275 points probably more. 35th place is 58 points times 5 races is 290 throw in a couple a lead-a-lap points. The break for '09 Top 35 will be about 300-320 points. So he's probably locked in later today, otherwise qualifing for Atlanta next week will do it.

Good stuff from Ambrose, is that his highest grid position in a Sprint Cup oval race?

Unfortunately Ten HD is showing the golf instead.

Mailllen I suspect if Ambrose keeps doing well, the golf might be in tape delay while NASCAR takes center stage. I am kind of surprised by how well Marcos is doing in Cup but I guess I shoudn't be. It just is his Nationwide results last year didn't indicate he could make the leap to Cup as easily as he has.

I did not expect #17 to win every race but out after 7 laps is sick !!!! Bragging statements have me eating large chunks of humble pie .Thats the fun part of being a fan , talking trash . Roush better sort out this problem quick .
