As some of you know Ont. has a street racing law where if you are caught doing 50k or more over the limit you lose your car for 7 days on the spot, your licence is suspended on the spot for 7 days and on conviction a fine of up to $10,000.00 and possible licence suspension.
A young lady was caught doing 165k in a 100k zone on the 403 by Brant division of the OPP. Car impounded etc.
So what you say.
Well the driver was Detective Constable Heidi Fischer of the Intelligence squad of the OPP General Headquarters based in Orillia in an unmarked car.
She was not on call and had no reason to be speeding.
I guess Brant have an extra unmarked car for the next few days.
She will be lucky to keep her job as Commissioner Fantino (the big cheese) is death on speeding and was the main force behind this law!
Due process must be followed of course. :D
