Well it appears TSN are going to carry at least some of the IRL races. St. Petersburg is going to be shown on a tape delay basis at the real prime time of 3.30 AM EST.
You got it folks 3.30 in the ruddy morning.
I guess that tells us what they think of IRL.
Wonder what the ratings will be?

Drifter...at least if TSN puts it on at 330am, it will be there. The "Score" network was infamous for advertising a 4pm start time for a live broadcast and putting the race on at 6 in a tape delay. Or maybe 8 that night. They would change their schedule on the same day half the time.
Long way back from the heady days when CBC gave us all the races live eh?

Latest news from TSN is they will carry all the IRL races on either TSN or TSN2.
St. Petes is now listed in one place on their web site as TSN2 live and on another with the 3.30 am time but not saying which channel.

Drifter, after that year of Champ Car being on the "Score", I will take TSN any time. Tape delay is not great, but with the 900 lb. gorilla of NASCAR taking up 5 hours every weekend you have to take what you can find.

I didn't mind The Score coverage all that much. I know we missed a couple laps here and there, but atleast they didn't cut and piece together the races on tape delay like TSN. Atleast you knew if you showed up at a certain time for the races on The Score, you would see the race at that time, instead of waiting an hour for the Nascab race to finish.
Just a heads up, I threw up another post in regards to the Canadian TV schedule on my blog at http://aowrtheotherside.blogspot.com/
Hopefully you Canadians, and anyone else who reads it enjoy it.

Which is great if you happen to get TSN 2. I guess I will have to record them.

If you don't get TSN 2, it is just a phone call away. Of course..easy for me to say right?
As for the Score Chamoo, if you liked their coverage, then there isnt' much point in telling you I didn't. I found their times of telecast to be out an hour often from what my satellite menu was telling me. When you tape races like I do, you only have to move a race once to tick me off...and they did, repeatedly.

Maybe I shouldn't say I liked the Score, but they met my needs. I can't say I've been happy with AOWR coverage in Canada since I started really following it when I was old enough to realize what was up (Denver 04 I believe, atleast it was Denver, I remember watching part of that race and something clicked for me, and I knew I really enjoyed this stuff).
