I'm not sure if anyone other than myself and PDS collects them, but I thought I'd make an individual thread, seeing as the other 3 main touring car series have their own model threads.
Here's my collection as of today:

My latest additions are the 2005 Paul Radisich Holden, which came from a UK seller and the 2006 Garth Tander Holden, which came from Australia this morning, after only buying it last Wednesday! Only cost me £19 all in for the Tander car, cheaper than the Radisich one! Next target is a Craig Lowndes 888 Ford, which I did see last week from a UK seller, but it was going to go for silly money.

What have you got?
There both Classic Carlectables models.
I got the Marcos Ambrose Ford Falcon BA and the Cameron McConville Holden Commodore. I tried to get the Murphy Commodore but it had just sold out.

You have to pay postage and tax on them in my experience. 2x 1:18 V8 Supercars cost me a little under £200.

The one I got was $5 postage, which worked out about £2-something. The cheapest I have seen, I have to say.

We all bid against each other anyway.
I have been outbid by one member on this forum twice this week, only for neither of us to win the items anyway.
To be honest though, i never look for the Aussie models, just sometimes stumble upon them.

Just thought i would bring this one back from the dead!
Just got a cracking Aussie model last week.. Not quite a V8 Supercar. But in it's day it was the best Aussie car around.
Won the championship for Dick Johnson in 1984!

Bringing this thread back from the dead again. Watching Bathurst has re-ignited my interest in V8 models. I've found a seller on eBay that'll ship 1/43s to here for £18-20 roughly. This could get messy!

The shipping will be 20 quid ish? how much for the model? your right though it could get very messy lol!

I have found Australian sellers vary from 5 Oz dollars to 30 Oz dollars.
I will say everything has arrived and nothing has been damaged..
One tip though. Allways buy single models. All my multiple buys have been hit by customs charges. The seller has to notify customs how much has been paid for the the parcel... the higher the price the more you pay in charges!

No it's £20 all in for a model and postage. That's a good tip Peter, I'll bear that in mind.

My Lowndes Vodafone Holden from 2010 and the Bathurst winning HRT Holden from 2009 arrived this morning. Really nice models. :)
I've got my eye on the Mark Skaife/John Cleland Bathurst Commodore from 1996 in 1/18th, but not until I can afford it!

Even at the sale price they're expensive enough that my wife would kill me before the package hit my doorstep!

Not a V8, but it's an Australian Super Touring model. Forgot I had this. Found it in a cupboard looking a little bit sorry for itself, but cleaned it up and stuck it in my cabinet. The only problem are the damaged door numbers, but they were like that when I got it.
