After they announced that they are taking an interest of 35% in Chrysler, Fiat announced a possible merger with the PSA Group (Peugeot - Citroen).

makes sense in current climate....develop one common platform for each type of car and sell under your own marque.

They already do that with the Light Goods Vehicles anyway.
