Mirek Fric, do you follow the Irish rally much or do you just keep an eye on the Skodas.

Mirek
17th January 2009, 22:40
Neither the first nor the second. When I'm at PC, I follow every rally which is possible to follow somehow. And when I get some video, I watch it as well. You have nice roads in Ireland and that's what I like :)

young walsh
17th January 2009, 22:46
Aye their some roads. Rautenbach was out in the Perelli snow tyre this evening and he reckoned he made up time

I haven't still analised the reports and stage times, but for what I've been watching on the online timing and the relatively short lead of Boland despite winning 8 from 9 stages...
Looks promisinig for tomorrow!

Rautenbach was getting out paced all day yesterday now his snow tyers did work for him the moonsoon wet conditions you wont even see him in the top ten for rally ireland.
Burkhart learned a thing or two for the up coming rallyireland wich will be an advantage to him,and was been caught by physo alcorn in a mark two escort where i was on the first stage, you wont get that on to many JWRC rounds

He started stage 12 and was passed by a couple of the Escorts, but then crashed on a square right scattering stones over the road.

But was the best among all!

Well that Škoda is one of the most advanced Fabia WRCs,it isnt far of the pace of the 07 Imprezas

But I think that it has more to do with Donelly being a class better than others ;)

That Škoda is in 05 specification in low budget team in my opinion...

ima great fan of donnolly, so im very pleased to see him win, in the skoda, and 05 spec, hope this will open the doors to more rallies. as i think he is missed in the championshp.

Donnelly is a giant killer.
His performance in the Corolla against much younger/faster machinery is legendary, IIRC he is the only driver to give the S12 a championship and I'd look for him to do well in the Skoda too.

C'MON THE GENIE!!!

As far as I remember Boland was considerably off the pace from Donelly and Miggins when they were fighting in Subarus...
