If you can get a clockwork radio for about the same price as a mains electric one, why not a clockwork TV set?

Vastly different power requirements. It would have to be a small screen, say maybe 4-5 inches and with todays affordable technology you would probably have to start cranking again after 10-15 minutes. Except as a novelty item, it wouldn't be too useful.

It could be made, but who would buy it? To have any useful watching time at all, you'd need a capacitor bank that would quickly put it out of the range of something you could slip in your pocket. For a fixed installation, it would be easier to set up a seperate generator that you could pedal instead.
Yes it could be made, but so could tennis shoes for elephants. The question is why bother?
